(north of france, yesterday)
For the past week or so we've had high winds. Yesterday was at its worst with hurricane-like winds blowing tiles off of roofs, trees down, and though I didn't see any fallen powerlines, they were sure blowing like crazy like they were about to snap at any second. Lots of fire trucks driving around everywhere.
I heard this area for Belgium was the worst. The north of France got hit the most, and being only a couple towns away from the north of France, we too got hit pretty bad.
but the worst is over now. Yesterday; dark, grey, cold, and unwelcoming tornado weather has passed to a beautiful sunny day. The sky is blue, the rain is drying and there's not a whistle of wind to be heard.
all is right in the world again.
